Yesterday, Saturday December 29th, there were the men’s downhill in Bormio and ladies slalom in Semmering.
The downhill in Bormio was really exciting, on a wonderful track, very difficult to interpret, which ended with the first four athletes just in two hundreds.
Scores his first victory the Italian Dominik Paris, with a marvelous race, perfect in all in all parts of the track, where he has been able ski this really hard track perfectly, without any trimming.
With him on the top step of the podium, the Austrian Hannes Reichelt, faster Italian at the top, but who commits some trimming in the final stretch, losing the advantage gained.
Third, for a hundred, Aksel Lund Svindal, that from start to finish of the race has been attached to the tails of the two skiers ski ahead.
Fourth, by two cents from Paris and Reichelt, arrives Klaus Kroell, a bit ‘in trouble in the first half of the race, but the author of a great regain in the central section.
Great was also the result of the other Italians. Werner Heel, sixth, in a turn, in the first part of the race, lies down and pulls out a curve in Bode Miller style, makes a little mistake in the central section, he recovers fine from, but where surely he leaves something.
Ninth, however, ranks Christof Innerhofer, author of a good race, but with some trimming.
Peter Fill arrives eleventh, wonderful in the first part, but you lose something after a little gleaned in the plane in the central section of the track.
This excellent result, added to the other results since the start of this season, gives us a strong signal and shows us the incredible progress made by this team.

Second after the first run, has emerges with a second perfect run that allows her to finally conquer the highest step of the podium. A crown deserved for an athlete that, on the podium, had already risen thirteen times.
Depending on the athlete’s home Kathrin Zettel, third after the first run, which is always a beautiful second test in progress.
Tina Maze, ahead in the first run by fifty-five hundreds, concludes the third, a position she obviously was not fulfilled by.
